What to Make of Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.

What You Trade On

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.

FIX API is available for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That should make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.

Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Now, the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your decision.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
